Bob Pants Workshop

A firm favourite at Betty’s, the Bob Pants by Style Arc have earned their place as a wardrobe winner – they look great on everyone! With their gently barrelled leg, elasticated waist, and our own Betty’s twist (we’ve added on-trend front patch pockets), they’re a brilliant project for confident beginners ready to level up their sewing game.

These trousers work beautifully in denim, heavier-weight linens, or if you’re feeling bold, our rather fabulous leopard and snow leopard prints. Trust us – they’re much more wearable than you think!

The pattern comes from Style Arc, an Australian brand we love, but they do tend to run a little large. That’s why we always recommend coming into the shop ahead of the workshop to try on our samples and choose your fabric. You’ll get a much better fit and a smoother sewing day.

Workshop includes:

Who’s it for?

This is a great project for confident beginners who already know how to use a sewing machine and want to make something stylish, wearable, and properly flattering.

Workshop Information (Please Read)

Times

Full-day workshops usually run 10am–4pm

What’s Included

• Small-group tuition (usually 4–5 people)
• Use of our sewing machines, tools and notions
• Light lunch, cake, and tea & coffee all day

Please let us know in advance about any food allergies.

What to bring

Nothing essential – we provide machines.

You’re welcome to bring your own scissors or tools if you prefer.

Fabric & Preparation

• Measurements are often needed in advance
• Please choose fabric before the workshop, not on the day
• We recommend buying fabric from the shop – it’s curated to work well with our courses
• Workshop attendees receive 15% off fabric
• We can’t be responsible for problems caused by unsuitable fabric bought elsewhere

Parking

On-site parking is very limited and not suitable for all-day use.

Please use the free all-day car park just up the road on the right.

Cancellations

• Workshops are paid for in advance
• 48 hours’ notice minimum for cancellations
• Late cancellations are non-refundable
• You may send someone in your place if needed
