Landscape Panel with Kath Perry: Saturday April 11th, 10-3pm

We’re very pleased to welcome Kath Perry to Betty’s for a full-day textile workshop. You may already know Kath’s beautifully crafted cushions and cards, which we stock in the shop. Her work uses layered fabrics, texture, appliqué and stitching to create distinctive landscape scenes.

In this workshop you’ll make a textile landscape panel, based around one of Kath’s signature designs, featuring a crofter’s cottage. Kath will share her techniques, shortcuts and finishing methods so you can achieve a strong, polished result.

Your finished panel can be used later as:

• a tote bag
• a framed artwork
• a cushion front

Workshop Details

• Time: 10.30am – 3.00pm
• Level: Confident machine users
  (Not suitable for complete beginners. You should already know how to use a sewing machine.)

What’s Included

• All fabrics and materials for the panel
• Use of threads, notions and equipment
• Sewing machines provided
• Light lunch included

This is not a garment-making workshop. You don’t need to bring anything with you.

Parking

On-site parking is very limited and not suitable for all-day use.

Please use the free all-day car park just up the road on the right.

Cancellations

• Workshops are paid for in advance
• 48 hours’ notice minimum for cancellations
• Late cancellations are non-refundable
• You may send someone in your place if needed
