The Loddon Pants are another Betty’s favourite — and once you’ve seen them on, you’ll understand why. They have a relaxed, elegant shape that looks fantastic on, especially when made in the right fabric.

They really come into their own in linen, viscose, silk, and viscose blends, including some of the beautiful prints we stock. They’re perfect for the summer months, easy to wear, and pair beautifully with many of our tops.

This pattern is particularly close to my heart, as I’m using it as the basis for my own outfit for Lulu’s wedding, so it’s very much tried, tested, and loved.

What you’ll do

• Make the StyleArc Loddon Pants step by step
• Focus on fit, drape, and fabric choice
• Learn techniques for sewing fluid, lighter-weight fabrics

• Linens
• Viscose and viscose prints
• Silks and similar soft, drapey fabrics

Times

Full-day workshops usually run 10am–4pm

What’s included:

• Small-group tuition (usually 4–5 people)
• Use of our sewing machines, tools and notions
• Light lunch, cake, and tea & coffee all day

Please let us know in advance about any food allergies.

What to bring:

• Nothing essential – we provide machines.
• You’re welcome to bring your own scissors or tools if you prefer.

Fabric & preparation:

• Measurements are needed in advance
• Please choose fabric before the workshop, not on the day
• We recommend buying fabric from the shop – it’s curated to work well with our courses
• Workshop attendees receive 15% off fabric
• We can’t be responsible for problems caused by unsuitable fabric bought elsewhere

Parking

On-site parking is very limited and not suitable for all-day use.

Please use the free all-day car park just up the road on the right.

Cancellations:

• Workshops are paid for in advance
• 48 hours notice minimum for cancellations
• Late cancellations are non-refundable
• You may send someone in your place if needed
