The Tessuti Robe: Saturday April 25th, 10-4pm

We’re bringing back this fabulous make after its huge success last time! The Tessuti Robe is a stylish, easy-to-wear dressing gown – perfect for floating around the house in, unwrapping presents on Christmas morning, or as a thoughtful handmade gift for someone special.

This is a lovely project for confident beginners, and the finished robe is both practical and luxurious.

Skill level: Confident beginner

Fabric ideas:

We have a gorgeous selection of fabrics perfect for this robe, from soft cotton lawns to more indulgent fabrics for that extra touch of luxury.

What’s included:

• Use of our sewing machines
• Threads, notions, and expert tuition throughout the day
• Light lunch (please let us know of any dietary requirements in advance)

Fabrics:

We ask that fabrics are purchased from Betty’s (with 15% off for course goers). We’ve tested and selected fabrics that work beautifully for this pattern, ensuring your robe is a success.

Before the course:

Please pop into the shop to see our sample so we can advise you on the best fabric and sizing for your project.

Workshop Information (Please Read)

During Check-out, please provide your phone number in ‘Order Notes’ at the bottom before proceeding to pay.
A phone number is essential (mobile is preferred, landline is fine).

• Light lunch, cake, and tea & coffee all day

What to bring

Nothing essential – we provide machines.

You’re welcome to bring your own scissors or tools if you prefer.

Fabric & Preparation

• Measurements are often needed in advance
• Please choose fabric before the workshop, not on the day
• We recommend buying fabric from the shop – it’s curated to work well with our courses
• Workshop attendees receive 15% off fabric
• We can’t be responsible for problems caused by unsuitable fabric bought elsewhere

Parking

On-site parking is very limited and not suitable for all-day use.

Please use the free all-day car park just up the road on the right.

Cancellations

• Workshops are paid for in advance
• 48 hours’ notice minimum for cancellations
• Late cancellations are non-refundable
• You may send someone in your place if needed
