Overlocker Basics Workshop (Beginners)

Led by Helen, this practical workshop is designed for anyone who wants to understand how an overlocker works and learn how to use one with confidence. Overlockers can seem intimidating at first – this session focuses on clear, hands-on learning in a small group.

Who it’s for

Suitable for complete beginners. No prior overlocker experience needed.

What you’ll learn

• How an overlocker works and what it’s used for
• How to thread an overlocker
• Understanding stitch settings and tensions
• Basic troubleshooting
• Finishes such as neat seams and rolled hems

This is a skills-based session rather than a make.

What’s included

Use of our overlocker machines, all materials, plus tea, coffee and light refreshments. You don’t need to bring anything with you.

Parking

On-site parking is very limited and not suitable for all-day use.

Please use the free all-day car park just up the road on the right.

Cancellations

• Workshops are paid for in advance
• 48 hours’ notice minimum for cancellations
• Late cancellations are non-refundable
• You may send someone in your place if needed
