Elodie Wrap Dress by Closet Core: Tuesday November 10th, 10-4pm

We’re affectionately calling this workshop The Myra Dress in memory of our lovely friend and colleague Myra, who made this dress and looked absolutely stunning in it.

Based on the Closet Core Elodie Wrap Dress pattern, this elegant wrap dress has beautiful movement, a flattering shape and, of course, pockets. Made in Liberty lawn, soft linen, viscose or other drapey fabrics, it skims the body beautifully and feels wonderful to wear.

This is one of those garments that has very little hanger appeal but comes alive when worn. The fit, swish and movement are what make it so special, and it has quickly become a favourite at Betty’s.

Suitable for more confident dressmakers, this workshop will guide you through the techniques needed to create a dress that looks effortlessly stylish and feels fantastic to wear.

We recommend popping into the shop beforehand to see our samples, discuss fabric choices and choose your fabric. Participants receive 15% off fabric purchased from Betty’s Sewing Box for the course.
