 The High Waist Skirt

This is one of those makes that just works. Properly works.

The High Waist Skirt is simple, practical, and really stylish without trying too hard. It’s a pull-on skirt with an elasticated waistband so no zips, no faff, just straight on and out the door. And it’s got deep pockets which, let’s be honest, is half the reason we love it.

You can make it in denim or a heavier fabric for something hard-wearing that you’ll wear all the time. Or go for something lighter if you want it a bit more swishy. It looks good either way.

It’s a great project if you’re a confident beginner. Nothing too tricky, but you’ll learn loads and come away with something you’ll actually wear.

Come and make a really good, solid wardrobe staple and have a nice day doing it. Please visit Bettys in advance to choose fabric and give us your size, we have our own patterns for you to use.

 Parking

On-site parking is very limited and not suitable for all-day use.

Please use the free all-day car park just up the road on the right.

Cancellations

• Workshops are paid for in advance
• 48 hours’ notice minimum for cancellations
