The Assembly Line High Waist Trousers: Saturday /Sunday October 24th& 25th , 10- 4pm

Join us for a weekend of dressmaking as we tackle the stylish Assembly Line High-Waist Trousers, a classic pattern with a flattering fit and professional finish.

This workshop is best suited to intermediate sewists or confident dressmakers looking to develop their skills. You’ll learn techniques including fly zip insertion, buttonholes, waistband construction and trouser fitting while creating a pair of trousers you’ll wear for years.

These trousers work beautifully in denim, twill, wool and tweed fabrics. We have a great selection available at Betty’s Sewing Box and recommend visiting the shop beforehand to try on our sample garment, choose your fabric and confirm sizing. Participants receive 15% off fabric purchased from Betty’s Sewing Box for the course.

As this is a substantial project, the workshop runs across the weekend, giving you plenty of time to achieve a great result.

Included in the workshop:
• Two full days of tuition and support
• Use of sewing machines and workshop equipment
• Tea, coffee and refreshments throughout the weekend
• Light lunch on Saturday
• Plenty of sewing chat and encouragement

Please note that lunch is not provided on Sunday as the tearoom is closed. Please bring your own lunch for the second day.
